CPI Scholars Network Plenary Conference for 2024-25 Working Groups

  • Brigham Young University Provo, UT (map)

This two-day plenary conference culminates the 18-month program cycle for the Network’s 2024-25 Working Groups cohort. This is a rich opportunity to not only discuss the work in Christian poetics that has been done thus far but to lay the groundwork for our future collaboration.

Our keynote speakers will be Romana Huk (Associate Professor of English, Notre Dame; Editor-in-Chief, Religion and Literature) and Michael Hurley (Professor of Literature and Theology, Cambridge). There will also be several workshops led by our senior scholars, discussion of literary texts together, and time to interact with each other about our individual projects.

This project was made possible through the support of an award from the Stephen & Laurel Brown Foundation through the support of a grant from the John Templeton Foundation. The opinions expressed are those of the speakers and do not necessarily reflect the views of either the Stephen & Laurel Brown Foundation or the John Templeton Foundation.

Hosted by Brigham Young University with special thanks to Matthew Wickman, Professor of English and Associate Coordinator of the BYU Faith & Imagination Institute.
