In this, the third of our faculty colloquia for 2023-24, "Missing Bodies, Missing Persons: How Art Illuminates and Complicates 'Encounters' with the Dead," we focus on the theme of Bodies/Embodiment as we examine Felix Gonzales-Torres’s "Candy Works" installations, specifically his 'portraits' of his deceased partner Ross, and ‘live’ post-mortem musical performances featuring Tupac and others.
